Powerful Templating Engine: Because of our standards based (XML/XSL) approach, OU Campus customers can update a single XLS file and republish their site with one click. For example, if a site has only one template, the XSLT transformation engine will re-compile and re-output the entire site-changing the look and feel of the site based on the newly published template. If a site has multiple templates, only the affected template would be changed in the site or across multiple sites. It's never been quicker or easier to refresh a site design.
Legacy Content Flexibility: Most educational websites have lots of legacy content and sub-sites that are important to maintain, but are rarely accessed or are inappropriate for a template environment. OU Campus allows clients to avoid this time consuming and unnecessary conversion. A few simple page tags can be added with an automated process to allow these non-template controlled areas to be edited and managed through the CMS.
